Plan on this step. Most proposals are not funded the first time, and many funded proposals are revisions of proposals that were submitted previously. Request copies of the reviewer comments. After digesting them, share the comments with the Director of Faculty Grants, Jessica Fowle, and meet to plan next steps. Proposals submitted a second (or third) time often fare much better.
